While playing in the golf tournament with my son Chris and our friend Brandon at the Reserve Golf Course in Hillsboro, Oregon, I made my first hole-in-one. There was a car giveaway involved. The car was a 1991 Alfa Romeo Spider with 21,500 original miles. We were on the 5th hole on the north side course and waiting our turn. Chris asked the hole sponsor (Auto Solution) if we could have our picture taken with us in the car. Mark agreed. Chris was the first to tee off and he went to the right of the green and Brandon was next and hit his to the left. I had pulled out a new Titleist AVX Number 1 using a fairway XHot cally 7. The yardage for this particular hole is 158 yards. I teed off and saw my ball going for the hole. The only thing I was able to see was the flag stick. Mark said he thought the ball went of the back side of the green. Brandon, Chris and myself reached the green about the same time. We look all over for my ball and Chris went over to the hole and it was in the bottom of the cup. We called Mark up from the tee box to confirm because there was a car prize involved for this hole, and this hole only. Mark confirmed that my ball was in this hole. I picked the car up on the following Tuesday. I am 70 years old and have been playing golf since the 5th grade. My first hole-in-one!!! I have been playing Titleist golf balls for years. Thank you.
