On June 27th during my Wednesday Night golf League, we came to hole #7, a 160 yard par 3. It was about 7:00 pm, the wind was in to us from the west and the sun was in our eyes. I hit a 7 iron and the ball was tracking the flag stick. I saw the ball take a big bounce and then disappear. I joked to my friends that it is either in the hole or over the green. As I was walking up to the green, the one of the guys was pointing at something under a tree behind the green. Thinking the ball had bounced over, I proceeded to walk around the side of the green when the other guy I was playing with walked up to the flag...looked down...looked up at me in disbelief...and then picked my ball out of the hole. I grinned and gave everyone in my foursome a high 5. This was my first hole in one and I never saw it go in.
