June 21, 2017 at Tam O'Shanter Golf Course in Hermitage, PA was a perfect evening for golf. My brother, Joe Henegan, a friend, Jim Jovenall, and I were playing the back nine for our Wednesday night Bessemer League. I was having a not so great evening, shooting a score of 6 on every hole except the first par three. As we approached the 17th hole, I thought to myself, "I have a running score of 39, if I can just par these last two holes I'll end with a 46 and be satisfied." We played the 17th and I scored another 6. The possibility of ending the round with a 46 had completely left my mind. On the 18th hole I stepped into the tee box with my 6 iron in hand and teed up my Titleiest Pro V1. I hit the ball and it was one of the best swings I had had all evening. The ball was tracking to the left of the green and as it landed we lost sight of it over a mogul only to see it reappear rolling across the green. Joe starting saying, "Go in the hole, go in the hole, go in the hole". The next thing he said was, "It went in the hole!" I have no doubt the finger of God was guiding the ball, but the fact that it was a Pro V1 made it roll a little truer! Well, I ended the nine holes with a 46 as I had hoped. What I hadn't thought earlier was how memorable that round of 46 would become!
