"It's in the Hole"
By Hugh H On 21 June 2018
There was a slight delay on teeing off on the up hill 14th hole at what we call the "old course" (Glenwood Golf Club)since it was built in 1927. Due to the build up of sand flying out of the bunkers the front of the bunkers are extremely high. The pin was tucked slight behind the bunker on the right side so you could not see the hole. My playing partners in the threesome, Johnny Jones was on the green and Curtis "Budda" Baldwin slightly short of the green. When my ball hit the front edge of the green, Budda said "it's turning over" and I said "it could be close". As I drove up and around the bunker I see both of their ball with mine know were in sight. By this time our other group of three Stu Southward, Steve "Ski" Servikc, and Matt Melton were pulling up the tee. Shortly there after Budda discovered my Velocity with it three purple dots in the hole. I let out a yell of excitement. It was great to sharing that moment with my friends. Yes, I treated in the clubhouse.
