On 10/2/13 I had the pleasure of playing Pine Valley. The weather was a perfect fall day. On the 5th hole a legendary par 3 playing 211. I hit a 3 wood of the tee to the elevated green. The shot headed right at the pin with a nice little draw. We couldn't see the ball land due to the distance and the uphill shot. When we got to the green my ball was no where in sight. The member I was playing with said "maybe it's in the hole". He proceeded to the hole and there was my Titleist 3 looking up at us.

What a feeling! My first ace in 50 years of golfing and to get it at Pine Valley #5!

After the round the flag was presented to me in the dining room. A memory I will never forget!
