On Aug 7th, 2016, I got my first ace on the 9th hole at River Ridge Golf Club in Raleigh, NC, an uphill par 3 that was playing 168 yds that day. My buddies both hit shots that were pin high, the first about 20 ft to the right of the pin, the next about 10 ft to the right of the pin. As I leaned over to tee up my Pro V1 (3 with 2 black dots), I said "Well I definitely have to get inside you so I guess mine is going in the hole". I hit a high arcing 7 iron that was tracking online as soon as it left my club. The ball hit the green, rolled for a second and then disappeared. My two buddies were like "I think that went in!" and I said "I think it did too!". And the rest is history! Now, I'm on the hunt for my next hole in one...
