It was not the best golfing weather but me and two of my friends decided to go out and play anyways. It was a very foggy morning about 30 degrees we didn't warm up on the driving range as usual because I had somewhere to be in a few hours. So we started on the 12th hole and we weren't doing good I had just bought some winter golf gloves and was trying to get used to them. I hit a bad drive on the 13th and found a pro v1x which is what I prefer to play while i was looking for my ball. And I hit the ball I was using in water on the island green 15th so i finished it out with the Titleist I found 2 holes earlier so we went to the 16th which is a 350 yd blind tee shot par 4 dog leg left with trees all along the left side now we always try to drive the green on this hole and I have pulled it off twice before. But you can't see the green because of the trees but I knew I hit a good one this time. So we go down and I spend 10 mins looking for my ball can't find it anywhere I was getting really ticked off. One of my buddies (jokingly) says why don't you check in the hole. Well I wasn't going to cause there was no way. So I look for a few more mins and said to myself what the hell I can't find it anywhere anyways so might as well check the hole. And as I'm walking up to the hole in see a trail in the dew from the fog on the green that leads to dead center of the cup it was the only trail on the green. So I think wait a second it can't be so I'm walking to the hole and i go to peek down into the hole and I just feels like I'm peeking off the side of a thousand foot cliff. And there it was my Titleist 3 pro v1x in the hole and I could not believe it. It was the greatest golfing moment (and maybe THE greatest moment) of my life which I will probably never top on a golf course but if I ever do I'm curious to find out how i'll do it.
