I was playing one afternoon in May this year with my son and a few other friends. We generally play ready golf and don't pay a lot of attention to each others shots because we play in gang-somes 6-7-8 guys/gals. I hit my shot and was not enamored with it so I moved off the tee to let someone else have the tee. I turned away from the ball as it was in the air because it was moving right of the flag which was front right of the green. My friend yelled out OH MY GOD! I turned around just as the ball was running into the hole! The ball had hit off of the left slope of the right front bunker and kareemed into the hole like a bowling ball picking up a 7-10 split. High fives all around. I was wondering if was ever to happen again. It has been 30 years since my first. That's a long time for a person who posts over 100 rounds a year.
