I started golfing about a year ago, and have very quickly become addicted to the game. My dad never played, and we didn’t grow up with many courses around us, so it never became something I latched onto as a kid. I started last year with a set of Top Flight clubs that my father-in-law purchased me (I’m a lefty so there weren’t many hand me down sets out there!) but a few months later I met an older gentleman that had become too old to swing his old set of Titleist DCI’s. Well, long story short I have fallen in love with these old irons. This past Friday, on 12/11/2020, in the pouring rain in Portland, OR, I made my first hole in one with my Titleist DCI 8-iron from 125 yards out on hole 15 at Tualatin Country Club! I have played many sports in my life, but the feeling of a hole in one might top all my past athletic achievements! I wanted to take a moment and thank Titleist for the role they played in this little moment. I know it doesn’t seem like a big deal, but someday I’ll show my son the flag and club I used to make this shot, and that wouldn’t be possible if it weren’t for those great clubs. Thanks, Bobby
