I was playing in a Member Guest this past week at the Standard Club just north of Atlanta, and I hit my 8 Iron -- I thought the shot was too far right, but my partner told me it was perfect. The pin was on the front and you couldn't see that part of the green. When we got there we found everyone's ball except mine....looked long, short, in the weeds and bunker, until my partner told one of the other players to look in the hole. I didn't believe it when she said it was in the hole! It took me 48 years of playing golf to get my first one last year, and now I have a second one!! Go figure!
