My Hole in One

It was a par 3 110 yard over a sand trap and a burm, #13 at Raccoon Creek, Littleton, CO. I lined up, then walked away as it felt funny. I did my pre shot routine and lined up again, and whispered to myself, now Susan lets go get a hole in one. It was a pure shot over the sand and hit the burm, my playing partners said wow that was a good shot. I said, I thinking I'm putting for bird. As we walked toward the green the Marshall came around the corner and said you just got a hole in one! He said it hit perfect, and he watched it thinking to himself, its got a chance. This was done at 7:00 AM in the morning as my 9 hole league starts at 6:00 AM. I got lucky with the bar bill, only cokes and ice teas that early in the AM. Best of all we had a hole in one pot for $715. My goal all along has been to get a hole in one before my X husband, check that one off my list.
