I live right off a beautiful course that's very tight. I'm on it every day early in the morning and later in the evening, when players aren't, to let me dogs run free. Because it's so tight I pick up lost balls every day. I give away almost all of them, but keep all the Titleist for myself. So I've been playing Titleist exclusively for many years and have loved them. Late yesterday afternoon I was inspired to get motivated and play some golf. I went out solo, but hooked-up with 2 guys on the 1st hole. I'm very fortunate of that because I needed witnesses. At hole 9, an 170 yard par 3, I teed off and hit a beautiful straight shot, heading directly for the pin with a 3 hybrid. I saw it bounce at the front of the green a few times, but lost sight of it after that, either due to the distance or poor eyesight. As I walked towards the hole I asked the twosome ahead, in a cart, if they saw a ball on the green. I didn't hear their response, but as I walking up I started to get very excited thinking that I could of hit it in the hole. It was a rush that came over me. I also considered asking the twosome if they saw a ball in the hole, but didn't. As I approached closer, starting to see the green, I didn't see a ball, but knew it should be up there because I knew I hit a great a shot. Now my hearbeat quickened, adenalene was kicking in and I became very excited. Not seeing it anywhere on the green I walked quickly to the hole, looked down and saw it just sitting there. I freaked, and yelled! The twosome turned around, very alarmed thinking something horrible may have happened, but soon surprisingly realized what had happened, as I was yelling "I GOT A HOLE IN ONE!". They ran up and confirmed my ball in the hole and we celebrated together with hugs, high fives and accolades. This was one of the most exciting things that has ever happened to me. I dedicated this accomplishment to the memory of my father.
