It was a 4 man scramble charity event at Hankered Hills Golf Course in Pleasant Lake, MI. There was a large hill on the green in front of the hole and the pin was placed to the back. I figured it would play like 140-145, so I chose my 9 iron. We saw the ball land what seemed to be about 3 foot left of the pin then roll towards the pin out of sight behind the hill. I figured it would be close since it made it past the hill that was covering the hole from our sight. The other three guys then shot with one other ball within what looked to be ten foot also left of the pin. As we were approaching the green the guys were saying nice shot to me but they thought the ball within 5 feet was mine. One of the other players said "Wait! This is my ball" I then looked briefly in the rough behind the pin and when I didn't see my ball I said "check the hole!". The first man to the hole said "Chris! It's in the hole! We cheered like crazy.
