I started golfing about 8 years ago. My Dad has always played and several people at work played so I thought it would be fun to have that in common with the people I cared about the most. Since I started playing, I really caught the bug. I've moved to a golf community, joined the club, and joined the ladies league. I play every chance I get! Yesterday, September 3, 2018, I was playing with a friend. It was very hot and a very slow round since it was Labor Day and a lot of people were on the course. On number 12 I stepped on an ant hill and got bitten by several ants. I thought about stopping play because I was in pain. I also had on a new pair of shoes that were giving me blisters. But I kept on. The next hole, hole #13, I pulled out my png Utility Wedge and got my first hole-in-one! I hit a nice high ball that almost came up short of the green, but it caught the edge and rolled into the hole. It was about a 70 yard shot. I couldn't wait to tell my Dad. He has had several holes-in-one and his most recent was when he was 92 years old.
