My First Hole in One

The back nine was a truly magical experience that I will not soon forget. I parred the 10th hole and bogied the 11th. When I stepped up to the 12th hole, a guy in my group asked me how much a hole in one was worth? I jokingly said everything in your wallet. Then he asked me if I was in the "Hole in one" pool, which I was not. I proceeded to the tee holding two clubs, a 5 and a 6. The pin was on the front of an elevated green with 2 snd traps right in front. This green is very deep and so I decided to go with an extra club and opted to use the 5 iron, which turned out to be a good decision. I hit the ball well (not perfect) but the ball was going straight at the flagstick and it hit the rough in front of the green. I had no idea the ball had went in the hole. When we drove up, I got out of my cart and brought a sand wedge and a putter with me, thinking that my ball may have skipped across the green. There was no ball on the Green, so I was convinced that my ball had skipped over the green and I headed towards the back of the green to look for my ball in the rough. Glen said, wait, I think you're in the Hole. I said no way and kept walking but he insisted that we check. So he walked over and looked in the Hole and exclaimed "Dude, it's in there" I was shocked and almost didn't believe it but then I saw it for myself. WOW! My first time that I got a Hole in One! A great experience, but the magic of this nine was not over.

Number 13 - Glad I kept the Hole in One ball, because my next shot went into the woods for a 7 on the next hole.

Number 14 (Par 5) I hit 2 balls that I thought were OB. Drove up to find that my ball had hit the cart path and rolled to a 400 yard drive and I parred the hole.

Number 15 (Par 5) Parred
Number 16 - Double
Number 17 Bogie
Number 18 - Sandy Par

Shot an 88 with a 41 on the back and it was a blast!
