I made my first hole in one a week before my 66th birthday. I started playing golf at age 26 so it took me 40 years. I play at Blackhawk Golf Course in Beaver Falls, PA, where I also work as a Starter. I made my hole in one on number 6 on the third nine. It was wet conditions, so I hit a five iron trying to fly the ball back to the hole. It was a right rear pin location. The ball landed on the fringe and landed in the hole. I just started yelling "Finally, I made one!" I switched back this year to a Titleist ball and I love the AVX. Now I am hoping for my second one.
