My first hole-in-one was July 25th, 2019. I was Playing Centennial Acres in Sunfield, MI. It was the eighth hole of their Midday course and 155 yards from the white tees. When I teed off, I pulled it slightly right, but I thought it should still make the green. It hit on the fringe and rolled right towards the hole, coming to a stop just in front of it. I couldn’t see how close I was, but I figured it’d be an easy birdie putt. So I climbed back into the cart and drove my wife to the red tees so she could hit. After my wife hit her ball, I looked back to my ball and didn’t see it on the green. I asked her if she saw anything happen to it and she said she hadn’t. To my surprise, the ball was in the hole when I got up to the green. We were both ecstatic and couldn’t believe what had happened. Luckily a friend from work was with us, otherwise nobody would have believed me.
