I am a 20 handicap, member and current board Director of the (PHGA) Palatine Hills Golf Association http://phgagolf.com at the Palatine Hills golf course located in Palatine Illinois. We have approximately 150 members that play golf on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. We also have a Tuesday travel golf group made up of 20+ golfers from our home course that play various courses every Tuesday. The Host rotates weekly, he determines the course we play and the games. Yesterday, September 22nd, we played the Schaumburg Golf Club in Schaumburg Illinois. Art Rush, one of our PHGA members was the host. I was in the first group, a threesome with Joe Saccomanno and Mike Walocha. We were playing the Blue/White tees of the Tournament course. On hole number 6 a 149 yard par 3, I hit an png G15 white dot 8 iron with stiff metal shaft from approximately 150 yards using a Titleist Pro V1 with my mark “a green Shamrock over the number on both sides of the ball” just clearing the trap. The ball rolled to the left. Mike Walocha said he heard it hit the stick and the ball disappeared. When I got to the hole, I looked into the cup and sure enough saw my green Shamrock looking up at me. My First ever hole in one!!! and I got it with a Titleist ProV1, using my G15 8 iron, Footjoy BOA's, Golf Buddy Voice providing the yardage. Thanks Titleist ProV1!
