My 16 year old daughter, Katherine Brei, is a junior on the Boone Grove HS girls golf team. This is her third year golfing and has been steadily improving each year. Yesterday, Tuesday September 5th, 2017, she played in a match at Innsbrook Country Club in Merrillville, Indiana. Using her favorite 7 iron, on the 7th hole, she lofted a perfect tee shot onto the green 121 yards out. That ball had eyes as it rolled across the green and made it's way directly into the hole for a HOLE in ONE. The epic shot was witnessed by several players from both teams along with parents and the opposing schools golf coach. I only wish I could have been in attendance to share in her emotional moment. She called me at the fire station to share her exciting news with me later that night. I instantly had to share the event with all my Facebook friends. The event has made her quite the celebrity at school and on Facebook. There are a lot of jealous "old guys" out there loving her accomplishment. Her ball was a Titleist 3 that was given to her at the beginning of the match by her coach.
