Well, The first Ace I ever had we in 1984 and I had been playing about 4 years and as the saying goes, its now how the ball gets there, it's the end result.... Here's how my first one goes: Playing a public "Par 3 Course" in Pomona, CA I was with my little brother and only about a block from my Grandparents house (at the time, they've since passed away) and I thought it would be fun for us to do... So off we went. We were playing and got to the 3rd hole, a 76 yd Par 3, I took out my old trusty PW and completely miss-hit the ball.... I don't think it got 5 feet off the ground, but the end result.. it rolled up onto the green and went in the hole! My FIRST ACE!! Now for my second Ace: Was playing with the some friends of mine on the Capital Hill RTJ Course, in Prattville (The Judge) and yes the name rings true, "You will be Judged". We were playing and my round was not going to great, I broke a club on #11 and was feeling a little upset about that, but, we come to #12, a Par 3, over water and its 146 Yards, so I pull out my 8-iron, make a good swing, thought I hit it over the green and when we got up to the green and I was looking behind the green for my ball one of the guys in our group went to pull the flagstick out and saw a ball in the cup... He asked me what kind of ball I was hitting and told him a swoosh (Sorry Titleist) he tells me its in the hole... My first reaction was shock and dismay.. How it went in the hole and didn't make a mark on the green or the cup more or less shocked me! We could not see the hole due to pin placement and when the round was over I shot a 95 with an Ace! But, like I said in the beginning, "It now the ball gets there, it's the end result". So that is my little story about my two aces and hopefully I will have another.
