On holiday in Portugal, I was playing so badly that when we got to the 13th hole and we were offered an entry to the Million Dollar Hole in One challenge, I refused - and it was only €10 euros. Sure enough I drove the ball from the raised tee , it soared in the air, trickled towards the hole and in it went! My playing partners and I couldn't believe it as it came from nowhere in a terrible round of golf. Sod's Law!! I should have bought a ticket and then would have been looking forward for a trip to Las Vegas. Big Mistake.
