I was playing in our Tuesday morning Golf League on 5/15/18 and it Finally Happened after 30 years!! The yardage was 165 so the perfect shot with one of my Favorite clubs a Hybrid 4. It was a solid shot over water on the 176 yard Par 3 at Amherst CC Hole # 3 that went from left to right that had a high perfect bounce right at the lip of the green then 2 smaller bounces before it rolled right up to the flag and disappeared into the cup. The funny thing is before the shot, I told my foursome this is “My Perfect Distance” of 165 yards so I said this might be a Hole in One so I walked back to my bag to put a clean Red mark with my signature "N" on the ball for the picture when it’s in the hole and they all laughed thinking I was wasting my time but...The rest is history and that shiny Red “N” will live in Infamy for years upon years!! It was worth the wait and glad we were all able to see it make that trip into the hole!
