I am 73 years old, and have played golf on and off since I was 14 years old. This is the first hole in one I have ever had. It was kind of ironic as my wife had a hole in one on the same hole about 15 years ago. When I texted her that I just got a hole in one on the same hole she got hers on, I got this reply "You just couldn't let me be better at one thing in our lives together!!! Could You!??? She wasn't serious. The 11th hole at Old Ranch Country Club always plays into the wind. The hole was playing around 135 yards and I hit a high 7 iron that was fading toward the hole. I bent down to pick up my tee, and when I looked up I saw a ball about 20 feet to the right of the hole. I couldn't believe that my ball had gone that far right. About that time someone in our foursome ran up to the hole and informed me that my ball was in the hole. Pretty Cool.
