My wife and I were playing with good friends on June 29th and on the 3rd hole playing 150 yards we would watch my 6-iron land left and short of the pin and roll into the hole. I've been playing golf for about 40 years and came close to my first hole-in-one on this very hole on July 4th of last year. Being a bogey golfer and typically won't buy "premium" golf balls, I decided to purchase some Pro-V1's with the gift certificate my daughter and her husband gave me for Father's Day. Wouldn't you know it that one of those Pro-V1's did it. Even more surprising is that I told my wife a couple months ago that I had a feeling this would be my year for a hole-in-one. Thanks Titleist.
