My wife was out of town on Mother's Day so my son, Aidan, and I decided to play a round of golf. It was only my third or fourth time out this year, and my son had not played since last year. I was not playing great, but we were having a good time. I shot the flag on hole #5 at 194 yards and grabbed my 3 hybrid due to a slight breeze that was coming at us on the tee. I hit the ball high and it as just left of the flag. While the ball was in the air, my son said "it's going in!" I had been close to a hole-in-one before so I did not get too excited. The ball hit the green, bounced once, and then rolled a few feet before disappearing into the hole. At that point I was excited! I high-fived my son and we danced around on the tee box. He called my wife and my golf buddies and we shared the news. It was a great Mother's Day!
