Mike Sella's First Hole in One at 61 years old.

The day was Tuesday, the 17th of July. The time was around 6:00 pm. I was playing the par 3, 4th hole at Drugan's Castle Mound golf course in Holmen, Wisconsin with the Trane Laboratory league. My playing partners were Ken Pett, Kevin Vossler, and Dan Pfaff. I had retired a couple months before this night after 32 years at Trane Company. It was a beautiful day in the low 80's with low humidity. I was the last to hit in my foursome and chose to hit with a 7 iron after observing where everyone else had gone, and what clubs that they had played. I hit a very nice slightly left to right, high shot to the hole, and the ball came down about 5 ft from hole and just ran directly to the hole, rattling the pin as the ball went in. It was my first hole in one after starting golf at 11 years old, and playing golf for 50 years.
