I am a huge Michigan fan and love the rivalry with Ohio State. I had an opportunity to play down in Columbus on the Scarlet course where the greatest golfer in the world began his legacy. Of course I couldn't say no. Out of respect, I wore my red polo with grey slacks. It was hole #8 and I've been breaking tees on every hole so far. So, I reached into my bag to grab another tee, and I pulled out my Michigan tee. I thought to myself, I don't want to break this tee but, maybe it will give me good luck. Oh did it ever. Playing roughly 170 yards, I hit my 4 iron (yes, 4 iron) with a slight fade. 1 hop, 2 hops, roll, roll, and gone. At that moment my playing partners and I realized that I had my first ace. They are OSU fans so, of course, I ran back to get my broken Michigan tee to show them to luck it gave me. I love this game!
