Memory for a lifetime

I introduced our son to the game of golf when he was six. He's now 18 and beats me most of the time. On a relatively warm November day in 2011, he came home from college just so we could get one more round in before the snow flies. On hole seven, I hit my nine iron just right, landed it about 10 feet short and it rolled in for a hole in one! After things calmed down, and not wanting to be outdone, he stuck a beautiful shot, on line but about 12 feet long. He stepped up confidently and putted it in for a birdie. I went on to lose the round, as usual, but we created a father-son memory that will last a lifetime.
