Our foursome got to hole 6 and the wind was in our face. I hit first and used an 8 iron to keep it low to the elevated green. I was planning on using the slope behind the green. Instead I hit it very low against the front of the hill. After it hit it went forward and none of us could see it. Everyone hit and when we got up there no one could find my Titlest 4. So I jokingly said to Joe Sr. "did you check the cup"? He did and asked what I was playing. I thought that he was kidding. It was indeed my ball in the cup. We could not see the drop because we were 115 back and about 25 lower on a good slope. It was my first hole in one. The guys working the course were initially skeptical because 6 is a tough 3 but I had 3 witnesses.
