Last Sunday I golfed with my Dad at our local executive course, Johnny Cake Ridge Golf Course, which is unfortunately closing after this season. We've played the course hundreds of times and I've seen 3 hole-in-ones but never had one myself. I know the course like the back of my hand and have been within inches a few times over the years, but finally I got my ace! On the 130 yard par-3 seventh hole I used a pitching wedge and hit one that landed short then bounced up and rolled in! We saw it drop from the tee box and went bonkers!!
