After being a caddie @ The Ocean Course @ Kiawah Island for the past 18 seasons my story will now change a bit. I always ask the golfers I am caddying for on the back 9 when we get to a par 3.....HAVE YOU EVER HAD A 1....they then tell me their story. I now can say back when asked if I have ever had a 1...YES I HAVE. On other spectacular course on Kiawah, OSPREY POINT, #6 175 yards. I had a 5 iron as I walked from the cart but figured let me be sure and hit a 4 iron. It never left the pin and all 4 of us saw it hit a bit short of the pin and slowly roll into the hole. Might be the purest 4 iron I have ever hit WITH A PROV1 X #13. The surprise & shock hit us all and they all said I think it is in. It was and then of course, they all wanted to know where the beverage cart was. I loved it and of course paid for a round of drinks. Been playing golf for over 50 years sand this was the first.....pretty sweet I might add.
