I have played Titleist 762 irons for the past 12 or 13 years. I spent many hours researching irons back then, knowing I would have them a long time. Little did I know I would have them this long. They remain solid performing clubs, and I still love the feel of hitting a great shot with them. Today, I hit the ultimate shot with my 8 iron - a hole in one! I hit the ball flush on the 12th hole at Stony Ford (Montgomery NY). the ball was tracking toward the hole, but I could not see the cup as it is an uphill par 3. When we got up to the green and my ball was not visible, I jumped out of the cart and ran to the hole. Amazingly, the ball - a Pro V 1X #4 - was in the cup! We had a lot of fun with it - high fives all around. Telling everyone else we saw on the course and in the club house. Just Awesome. And I had to give it everything I had to hang in there and shoot a respectable score for me - an 85. My playing partner gave me an awesome match and we both shot the same score with me edging him in our match on 18 to win overall by one shot - match play.
