Long time coming

I was diagnosed with Parkinsons in 2013 but I had it under control. In July of 2016 I tore my Achilles tendon and had surgery. About a month later I had emergency surgery to remove my appendix and about a month after more surgery for an infection that developed. This caused my Parkinsons to be pretty bad. My doctors say I should get back to the way I was but it takes time. I missed about 1/2 of the 2016 golf season, all of 2017 and about 4 months of this year. Needless to say I was anxious to play. I started back the middle of July this year and played mostly 9 holes to start slowly. On July 21, I played at Ives Grove Golf Links in Racine, Wis. On the 2nd hole on the white nine I had a tee shot of around 140 yds over water and sand. The cup was on the left side and I was aiming for the center of the green. The ball felt perfect off the club and I could see that it was right at the flag. My brother said that could go in and it did. I've come close to an ace several times and I finally got one and it was even better with my brother Mike.
