Walk Off

After playing golf over 45 years to now "very" likely my final round for medical reasons with my best friend Johnny D since 5th grade I can now with great sadness proudly walk away from the Sport of respect. After losing close to a dozen ProV1's the first 3 holes (on a par 3 course) I then realized its just time to quit. Having only a few balls left I managed to play well until Hole #13 127yd Par 3 became my STAR. As normal, I pushed right a well-hit wedge to then hit the bank shooting it across the green out of sight. I didn’t see it go in or hear the pin clank but had the feeling. I dropped the club and jumped in the cart. I ran to the pin and there it was. With tears in my eyes, my journey was over. I had hoped to play Pebble Beach or maybe St. Andrews before stopping but this was my dream shot with a friend for life. Miss ya dad!!! Thank you Titleist for becoming my STAR. Robert Kasmer 10.13.19
