Lake Geneva WI Weekend Ace
By Jason H On 31 July 2017
We live in the suburbs of Chicago and visit Lake Geneva WI every summer for a week. Every year we get in at least four rounds of golf taking advantage of the great courses in the area. While playing Geneva National Player Course I capped off the vacation with an ace on the 13th. The hole drops severely (about 60 ft) from the back tees to the putting surface. My yardage was 170 but played 150 calculating the slope. I hit a draw with my 8iron knew it would be close as soon as it was struck. From the tee it looked to be about 2 ft from the hole. As we rode down the path to the green, we noticed that was not the ball next to the cup but the pitch mark. When I did not initially see the ball feared it went over the green...just my luck. When my partner convinced me it could not be possible to fly the green based on where it landed reality set in. Walking to the cup and peaking in I found my custom #00 ProV1 with light blue dot to the right of the numbers. As Ice Cube once said, "Today was a GOOD day"! Have been and always will be Titleist loyalist.
