I am excited to exclaim, I scored my first hole in one at Flint Elks Golf Club Wednesday September 20th, in Flint, Michigan. I am sixty-four years old, playing golf since I was seven, and wondered if this glorious day would ever arrive. I used my favorite golf ball: Titleist Pro V1x, #3, identified with three shamrocks, strategically placed for easy ID. The Titleist held the 8th green well, and a few feet later softly rolled into the cup. My heart pounded as I strolled the 170 yards and took a picture of the Titleist resting comfortably at the base of the cup. A feeling like no other! I incidentally birdied hole 7 and also hole 9 sandwiching my Ace, shooting a record [for me] 35. This day will be cherished.
