My first hole-in-one happened in August 2016 at Cowans Ford Golf Club, Stanley, N. C. Playing in our Ladies League on a beautiful day. When we approached 17, I placed ball on tee just like any other hole. Pin was on the front, 124-yrds away. Pulled out my hybird #4 club and swung. Remembered I hit the ball smoothley. The ball hit the front of the green, bounched left at which time I turned to talk to my friends. My friends starting jumping up and down yelling "Joan you made a hole-in-one"!! This was the most exciting thing I have ever done in golf. My SECOND hole-in-one happened one year later in July 2017, . This time. the hole played 115 yards to a pin located on the front of the green. Playing pretty good, I pulled out my 5 iron. Was not aiming for the pin; however, I saw my ball, in flight, heading straight for the pin. Ball hit the hill, bounced onto the green and starting rolling to pin. Again, I turned to my friends assuming that the ball would roll close or beyond the pin. My friends starting yelling "Joan you made a hole-in-one"!!. I am now looking forward to 2018 late July or early August for my THIRD. How cool would that be and what are the percentages of this happening again. For the first time, I joined the Hole-In-One Club just in case.
