James, 11, shoots his first ace

Ackerman said he had a pretty good feeling as soon as he hit his 8 iron from the white tees on Hallbrook's picturesque sixth hole. Despite the challenging pin placement on the far right, a lucky draw helped to land the ball within 5 feet of the hole. Good buddy Andrew (his playing partner from U.S. Kid's golf) and James screamed, "Holy Cow! Oh my gosh!" as they watched the ball spin slightly left to roll in to the hole. They sprinted the 128 yards to the hole, as only 11 year old boys can, to capture the moment with a photo. Celebrating with an ice-cold Shirley Temple after completing 45 holes of golf (these boys have an astonishing love of the game), James said, "I don't have to dream about getting a hole-in-one anymore." Here's to achieving many more dreams, James. Congrats!
