It Was About Time!

It was a cold and rainy day in Georgia but nothing was going to stop me from playing, and I'm sure glad I did. We were going to play for my friends birthday and chose Arrowhead Pointe GC at Richard B. Russell State Park. We went off on the back nine and came to the beautiful 15 right on the lake. The pin was a "suckers" pin location but I had nothing to lose so I grabbed my 52* wedge, looking at the 138 yard shot and took dead aim. The ball had a nice draw ball flight and hit about a foot from the hole and jumped straight in! I completely lost it and celebrated with my friend before I took off in a full sprint to the green. I fell on the cold wet ground but nothing was going to stop my excitement. I am a former collegiate golfer and thought this day would never come. I am still in shock and completely giddy as a school girl.
