On July 20th I had lasik eye surgery and was scheduled to play in my 1st scramble after the surgery on July 27th. I played golf the day before the tournament and was having trouble with depth, hitting shots fat and thin so I had no real expectations the next day. The tournament started and I stuck the 1st approach shot right over the flag we played the next hole and then #8 at Marietta C.C. the hole was 160 yds and I hit an 8 iron, the ball bounced once and into the hole. It was witnessed by Chris Wharf, Brian Brewer and Walt Kubala Jr. This was my 3rd hole in one but the first in 22 yrs.
