It only took 27 years

I'm a member at Newport national golf club. This is my first year being a member. I set out on 8/16 to play 18 holes after work, as my office is 5 minutes from the club. I was playing average when I stepped up to the 13th hole. It's worth nothing that I've probably hit the ball in the water 10 times on this hole.
I hit a little 8 iron (AP2 718) and it was flighted maybe 8 feet left of the stick (which was in the front of the green). So I assumed while the ball was in the air "ok, decent shot, I'll have 15 feet for birdie. The ball hits the green and careens right, one bounce. It's starts rolling closer and closer...then disappears!!! My first thought was that I needed to finish the round to make it official. I want on a bogey train after that and really can't remember a single shot after the hole in one, except putting out for par on 18!
PRO V1X 7 for life!!
