After the family barbecue on July 4th, my friend and I decided to go play 18 holes at Wethersfield Country Club. On the 180 yard par 3, hole 17 I hit my first ever hole in one. I hit a 6 iron against the wind and as the ball soared towards the pin my friend said, "I like how that looks!" And then it landed 5-7 feet from the pin. I looked away and told my friend, "that's an easy birdie putt." But little did I know that the ball was rolling towards the pin, my friend said, "wait I think that went in." I turned around and looked at the green, my ball was nowhere on the green...because it was in the cup! This added some great excitement to my 4th of July!
