June 6, 2016, playing in the Wichita Chamber of Commerce Annual Golf Tournament. Was part of a foursome from the ad agency I spend 25 years of my life serving. The day was beautiful and our golf was, well, let's just say the day was beautiful and let it go at that. We came to Hole #7, a 179 yard par three. The pin was cut far left. It was the car giveaway hole for the tournament. I'm never anticipating doing anything spectacular or even average on such holes so I stepped to the tee and thought I'd just get it over with so the other guys could actually try to win the car. I teed up a #4ProVI and took my png G25 23 degree hybrid - set up - hit the ball and it just keep going higher and higher and straighter and straighter. My partners said that thing is going right at the hole. It bounced and rolled so I couldn't see it. I thought it had just rolled past the hole. One of the judges at the hole said it has gone in. I didn't believe it. My playing partners were all saying it went in - I still didn't believe it. So, one of the judges went up to the pin and sure enough the ball was in the hole. Yep, I had holed out on the car hole of a tournament. Am now the proud owner of a Jeep. Amazing miracles do happen.
