I was having a bad day...

Started playing in August of 2015. Second time out this season and I was really struggling, getting frustrated and wondering why I was playing this game. I was playing at a municipal golf course close by, 9 holes, and when I got to the 4th hole I was so discouraged I wasn't even looking when I grabbed my 6 iron. This was a par 3, 132 yard hole. I can't hit a long ball, and usually on this hole I use my 5 iron, and even then I barely get close to the green! I just walked up and put my ball down, squared up, and hit my shot. I saw it land and figured, oh, nice shot, at least it's straight. It kept rolling, my husband started getting excited, and then it went right in the hole. He's screaming, I was doing my happy dance. It was such a great feeling! Instead of wanting to give up the game...it made me realize I can do this, with time and practice. What an exciting day!!!
