I even had deer to aim at!

My first hole in one came during a FBI Golf Tournament Scramble that I was playing in with my husband, Dad, and family friend. It was on #16 at The Palmer Course at Stonewall Resort in Roanoke, WV on May 21, 2018. I had never played Stonewall so I agreed to take the day off and play. It was my first time out for the year. (I have a 2 year old, that’s why) I was hitting them good that day if you forget the time I spent on the driving range before we got started. I hit last every hole since I’m hitting from the reds. (I’m a female left handed golfer so I stick out like a sore thumb on the course already) I took my PW out that I had been throwing darts with it all day and walked down to the tee box. It was 107 yards looking down on the green with water on the right and not one but two deer on the green. Immediately, I knew I had hit it good if it was the right distance. It landed right in front of the hole and rolled in and I couldn’t believe it. One of the most exciting moments in my life! My mom passed away in January 2017 after a long battle with cancer. I instantly thought of her and how I knew she helped my ball go in the hole! Big moments in my life will always be bittersweet by not being able to share them with my mom but my dad and my husband were there! I’m now part of a club I never thought I would be. :)
