Home hole ace

I live on the third hole at Bear Creek Country club which is a medium length par 3 and was playing with my wife, father-in-law, and a cousin who is visiting. I told my cousin that the hole plays about a 1/2 club longer and to approach the hole on the right, as everything breaks toward the left. The pin was back-right. I aimed at the right edge of the green and hit my 6-iron flush. It was a good looking shot, and I knew it could be close, but expected to have it hit and break down to the left leaving a 10-15 uphill putt. The ball landed right of the pin and started rolling toward the pin. Then it seemed to swirl and disappear. I thought that it might have just gone behind a hump, but everyone was yelling. I was a bit skeptical having had close calls before. As we approached the green, I didn't see my ball, so I was getting a bit more excited about the possibility of ace-ing literally my "home" hole! We walk up to the hole, and there is the ball with my mark (initials) and the Titleist logo peering back at us. It was wonderful to be around family so that they could see a hole in one and to share that experience with them. I have had one other hole in one, at a tournament so I feel blessed to have had another.
