It was my first outing of the year and we were golfing in a scramble. We approached the third hole, which was a 175 yard par three. I landed a six iron in the middle of the green and the ball kicked a little left in the direction of the pin. The cup was not visible from the tee box because of a bunker ridged in front of the green. My girl friend was standing at the womens tee and yelled, "I Think that went in" but she didn't sound very sure so I shrugged it off.(she would have been pissed if I didn't mention that part) As we walked up to the green the ball wasn't there. Their was only one place it could be. I looked into the cup and proceeded to flip out. I golfed terrible the rest of the day. It was a good day.
