It was a beautiful spring afternoon for a round of 18 in Greeley, Colorado. We decided to play Highland Hills since my best friend lived on the course pretty much. I wasn't having the greatest round since it was my first time there but that's never an excuse. We played with my best friend's long time friend who actually was in a snowboarding accident a few years back breaking his neck. He survived all that and he continues to play golf. On hole 17, with 164 yards I pull out my 6 iron. Before hitting, he asks me if I ever had a hole in one, and replied with a "no, I wish." He says, maybe it's time for one and I just chuckle. I hit my shot well and it lands on the green and as I was going to put my iron back in my bag everyone starts yelling and saying I got a hole in one! I couldn't believe anything until I got on the green. Sure enough, that Titleist 3 was sitting in its home after one shot.
