I have easily played over 2000 rounds of golf and have come close to making a hole in one, but never made one until the 3rd hole at Hudson Hills in Ossining, NY. The hole was a 151 Yard hole. I hit my Pro V1X with a 9 iron which landed 5 feet short of the hole and rolled in. What a thrill!
