I finally achieved a life long goal of mine! I am from Canada and was playing st a golf course with my father who showed me the game of golf when I was young. I was playing a terrible round because I was trying to impress him and was one of those rounds I wanted to be over with. I approached 17th hole par 3 playing 185 and I had a 6 iron in my hands & swapped out for a 7 iron (thank god I did). I hit my shot and my dad says 'that's a good shot' then 'wow that's a great shot!' And I jokingly said out loud for it to go in like I always do on good shots lol it was tracking to the hole & then disappeared!! I threw my club in the air turned around to my dad who screamed 'oh my god you got a hole in one!' We shared a hug, some tears of joy and a moment I'll never forget with my dad.
